Wanderlust
SushiSundae is a personal journal of Sushi's internal monologues on about everything, verses that she calls psuedo-poetry, a random lyric from a song (that probably means something to her), sometimes a make-up review; and often- photographs of food, fashion and everything cutesy.

She loves writing poetry, milk tea, make-up, the gyaru lifestyle, korean pop, japanese food, chick flicks, boots, ribbon rings, coding, John Mayer, coffee shops and countrysides. She works with clothes, dreams of clothes and if clothes can be eaten, she'll have a plateful for breakfast. She's currently living in California but misses her MNL life (and bedroom) tremendously.

a.k.a How to turn my mornings to hello world!

~Listening to my John Mayer playlist on Pandora, while sipping a warm cup of sweet tea! Just had my long and warm shower, and the scent of Vanilla Bean Noel lingers! I love this calm night! :D

Tomorrow’s going to be the start of my work life again, after taking a week long of rest… and I’m just feeling quite in between of wanting to earn and not wanting to get up during the mornings (whew writing that line totally proved what’s more important hah) so I thought of blogging to refocus and re-motivate myself, even if I’ve just posted an entry a few minutes ago.

I was telling my parents awhile ago of my dilemma; whenever I don’t have hours, I feel this strong motivation to look for a new job but whenever I do get long hours… I just feel so mad sad that I need to wake up early and… work! Haha. I have to straighten this little miss lazy attitude of mine!

Okay self, listen up. You have loads of things you want to achieve, quite a dreamer… but you need reminders! Here’s why you shouldn’t drag yourself out of bed and welcome the new day by being the most amazing version of you all day:

  • You’ve always wanted to be a strong, collected and confident person - Going to work gives you all the lesson to cultivate the qualities you want to have. Each day (even if it isn’t work day) gives you a chance to role play what you would think would be the best version of you. I’ve always admired the people I work with, because they have this certain calm and collected aura and an eye that just knows how to do things with confidence.
  • Having a job is a gift - make sure to make the most out of it by being the best worker you can be! Not only will it give you support financially, it will also make you an asset for the company— and that always always always is a good thing for you overall!
  • You have a long wish list - Haha! But really, imagine how lovely it would be if you’ll always just be able to support yourself and buy the things you want. :) You can also treat your parents out for a good lunch or dinner! ^.^
  • Keep in mind that every work day is a challenge - that is why you should take it on with much enthusiasm instead of expecting the worst out of it.
  • You’ve always wanted to have something big for yourself - and making the most out of work day will give you a great feeling of achievement… every day. :)

And some more concrete obligations that will require you to be the best at your job and keep your job:

  • Help with the bills! I really want us to move to a nicer place.
  • I need to have my own phone line soon, and a new phone.
  • I need to save up for college here.
  • Apply for a credit card.
  • Our own wifi installation.
  • MacBook Pro.
  • Laura Mercier Tinted Foundation.
  • Nars Multiple
  • Revlon lip butters.
  • My daily dose of espresso.
  • More money = more clothes, nuff’ said.

And the things to do when bad days come… (like when I’m feeling extremely crappy lazy OR too tired from yesterday’s workload):

  • Think of Mila Kunis and Emma Stone. HAHA. Nope, I’m not turning lesbian for them! I just really admire their personalities, and I believe that just by wanting to go to work and exposing myself to people can help me with my confidence and sense of self. :) Plus I can buy all the Revlon goodies Emma Stone promotes. Haha.
  • Read this entry over and over.
  • Take a long and warm shower with my favorite body wash! ^.^
  • Use my favorite Vanilla Bean Noel body creme— because it makes me feel happy, positive and motivated in an instant!
  • Window shop. Yes.
  • Have a good cup of espresso!
  • Put my hair up (because it allows me to focus more. haha. placebo effect yes?)
  • Pray. :)

So these should be enough to motivate me… Writing it down really did help me come back to my senses! I was feeling stressed out about the thought of working, but my feelings of negativity belong to the type of stress I can control… and that realization gives you the power to turn the situation around.

This might be focused on my work-life; but I know that looking back in this entry will just help me to get myself back on the fab track; no matter what day it is.

On to happier entries! Let’s do this self!! ;)
